Armstrong, MO resident, Alexandrea Nation, 20 passed away suddenly at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia on March 22, 2022. Alexandrea Ann Nation was born in Beaufort, SC on October 3, 2001, a daughter to Wesley Nation and Rebecca (Brundage) Yung. Alex lived between South Carolina and Florida until moving to Missouri with her mother and brother in 2010. She attended and graduated from Fayette High School with the class of 2020. Alex was currently working as a clerk for the Department of Revenue in Fayette. Alex had an outgoing friendly personality, a love for living in the moment and there was never a stranger to her. She loved her dogs, going fishing and doing artwork, especially drawing the character, Stitch, from Lilo and Stitch. She will be deeply missed by family and friends but her soul and spirit will endure and live forever. Survivors include her mother, Rebecca (Cody) Yung of Armstrong, MO; father, Wesley (Jenny) Nation of Romney, WV; four siblings, Colton Nation, Breanna Yung, Delaney Yung, all of Armstrong and Jack Nation of Aiken, SC; Grandparents, Ricky (Mary) Brundage of Glasgow, Sharon (Kenny) Nation of Glasgow and Vickie (Donald) Yung of Armstrong; great-grandmother, Marilyn Adams of Glasgow; two step-sisters, Brianna and Madyson Catlett of Garland, NC; and two step-brothers, Tre (Alexis) Catlett of Garland, NC, and Jensen Catlett of Romney, WV. She is also survived by her significant other Kobe Craig of Armstrong, and numerous aunts and uncles, and a bundle of cousins and friends. A memorial service honoring her life will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow, with Fr. Joshua Duncan officiating. Visitation will be held two hours before the service, at the funeral home, starting at 9 AM. Inurnment will be at Washington Cemetery in Glasgow, MO.
