Mary Wiswall 1924 – 2014 Fayette resident Mary Opal Wiswall passed away November 25, 2014 at the Lodge in Fayette, MO. Mary Opal Wiswall was born October 12, 1924 to Kenneth Elton and Linda Mabel McClammer Earl. She was educated at Jackson rural school and graduated from Fayette High School in 1942. On August 19th, 1944 she married David R. Wiswall and he preceded her in death on September 13th, 2001. Mary Opal was a homemaker and a talented seamstress who served as a sewing leader to many in the 4-H club community. Throughout her life she worked at various times as a secretary-receptionist at Keller Hospital, Production Credit Association and Herring Plumbing & Heating. She and her sister owned and operated the Mary-Mart Ladies Ready to Wear in Fayette for several years in the mid to late sixties. She was a member of Moniteau Chapel Church. Growing up in a musical family, she and her sister, along with their Mother at the piano, sang at many church events, weddings and funerals. In her later years she enjoyed listening to many kinds of music, but the country music man, Ray Price, was one of her favorites. Survivors include two children, Linda E. Rauch and husband Randy and David E. Wiswall and wife Debbie; daughter-in-law, Nancy Wiswall of Rocheport; grandchildren, Greg Wiswall and wife Gina, Kim Bailey and husband, John, Derry Wiswall and wife Lisa, Trisha McClung and husband Patrick and Dana Martin and husband Travis; 12 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. She is also survived by her sister, Martie Ballew of Fayette. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Jim Wiswall and brother-in-law, Paul Ballew. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Chapel in Fayette with Rev. Harold Young officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM, Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
