Jeffrey Wells 1964 – 2015 Fayette resident, Jeffrey Wells passed away at his home March 6, 2015 after a battle with cancer. He was 50 years of age. Jeffrey Ray Wells was born April 13, 1964 at Keller Hospital in Fayette to Eddie and Lou (Smith) Wells. Jeff graduated from Fayette High School in 1982. He married Sherry Souders October 22, 1988 in Fayette. Jeff worked 21 years for Austin Coffee / Graves Menu Maker. He enjoyed working for both families who treated him as part of their families. Jeff was always interested in auto motives, which ranged from classic cars, muscle cars, to motorcycles. He had a talent of drawing cars and motorcycles and often drew pictures as gifts for his friends. He enjoyed attending car shows and riding motorcycles with Sherry and friends. Jeff and Sherry also enjoyed going to antique shops together. Jeff was a devoted and loving family man. One of his greatest joys was the birth of his daughter, Katy. Above all, Jeff placed Jesus Christ first in his life. Even during his illness, he held strongly in his faith. He witnessed all that God was doing during his illness to everyone who came to visit. He wrote testimony to be shared with the hope of bringing others closer to Christ. One pastor friend of the family, after learning of Jeff’s homecoming, said, he finished well. He is survived by his wife, Sherry, daughter, Katy, his parents, Eddie & Lou Wells, his sister, Laurie Wells, mother-in-law, Lois Souders, father-in-law, Kenny & Karen Sue Souders and brother-in-law, Ronnie & Terry Souders all of Fayette.
