Mr. Alston Marion Courtney Enyard, the son of Janice Hawkins Enyard and the late Howard Kent Enyard was born August 25, 1986 in Detroit, Michigan. He transitioned to be with the Lord Tuesday July 16, 2024.

The body will lie-in-state Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at V.K. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Bellefonte Tabernacle Baptist Church Columbia, TN 38401. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00am – 12:00 pm; with Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00 pm.

V. K. Ryan and Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Alston worked as an Operator for Magna Seating in Spring Hill, Tennessee. He was educated in the Maury County Public School System in Columbia, Tennessee and was a 2005 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Alston gave his life to Christ and was baptized at a young age. Alston ran track during his youth. He was a very popular person in high school and played on the Varsity Basketball team and AAU travel team as a starter player. Additionally, Alston played football in high school. Alston went on to play college basketball for Columbia State Community College in Columbia, Tennessee.

Alston was a handsome, respectful, considerate, and loving man. If you knew Alston then you know he had a great personality and was a very likable man. Alston loved to joke around, bowl, and just loved life in general. Alston would tell a story and sometimes stretch the truth to somewhat add a little humor. Alston loved to travel with the love of his life, his son, and bonus daughter. He loved to be on the phone telling old stories and talking about movies with his sister (Alisha) and uncles.

Alston leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Janice Hawkins Enyard (Memphis,TN), Love Of His Life, Vela Barner (Columbia,TN), son, Alsoni Enyard,(Columbia,TN), Sisters: Toya Hawkins(Memphis,TN), Alisha (Tamika) Hawkins Enyard (Memphis,TN), Niece Tejana Shields of Memphis,TN, bonus daughter Amari Dawson (Columbia,TN), devoted cousin, Keisha and a host of uncles, aunties, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Howard and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Final resting place will be in Glasgow, MO and under the direction of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Service.  A graveside service will be 2 PM, Friday, July 26, 2024 at Lincoln Cemetery in Glasgow, with Rev. Sandra Enyard officiating.
