Former Fayette resident, Charlotte Dysart, passed away at her home in Boonville July 11, 2014. She was 69 years of age. Charlotte E. Dysart was born August 28, 1944 in Sedalia, MO to Alphonse John and Florence Ann (Nold) Seifner. She graduated from Smithton High School in 1962. One of her first jobs was with the Sedalia Police Dept. as a dispatcher, She did babysitting out of her home, in which all the children called her, Aunt Charlotte, she also worked at McCutcheons Grocery and was the director of the 911 Emergency Service in Fayette for a number of years. She married Don Dysart November 18, 1994. Charlotte was always active, helping wherever there was a need. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Don of the home, daughter, Charleen Leutung of Boonville, son, Michael O'Dell of Columbia, grandson, Garrett Leutung and granddaughter, Carlee Leutung both of Boonville, two sisters and one brother. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler O'Dell. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Chapel in Fayette with Rev. Diane Walk officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 8 PM, July 15 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Ridge Cemetery with Dr. Richard Taylor, Dr. Kenneth Vroman, Darrel Leutung, Daryle McMullin, Omer Conrow and Norman Dysart serving as pallbearers. Memorials are suggested to the grandchildren's college fund in care of the funeral home.
