Darlene C. Holst, 65, died Friday, October 28, 2016, at Hock Family Pavilion. Mrs. Holst was born in Chariton Co., MO, the daughter of the late, Tom H. Britt and Oreta Powell Britt. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Britt, and a sister, Linda Pilkington Mrs. Holst is survived by her husband, Ray Eugene Holst; son, Troy Eugene Holst; daughter, Amy Rae Richardson; grandchildren, Kacie R. Richardson, Stanley Benton Richardson, Jr.; sisters, Velma Hess, Susie Coonce, Margie Stephenson, Shirley Jenkins, Lynn Smith, RaeNene Butler; and brothers, Doyle Britt, Dale Britt, Jerry Thomas Britt. Services for Mrs. Holst are 1 PM, Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette, with Rev. Mark Gassman officiating. Visitation will be held an hour before the service. Burial will follow the service at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Fayette, MO. Memorial contributions are suggested to Cancer Research, in care of the funeral home.
