David Adams

Glasgow resident, David Adams, age 54, passed away at his home on October 18, 2023.

David Wayne Adams was born in Bellflower, CA on July 11, 1969, to Steve Jarrett and Rita Pendergrass.  David was a graduate of Glasgow High School.  Following graduation, David served with the U.S. National Guard for a number of years.  On February 14, 2006, David married Tammy McCarthy in Midway, MO.  David was a hard working who always stayed busy.  He was handyman that could fix just about anything.  David worked for the Isle of Capri in Boonville, MO as head of maintenance for over 15 years.  His hobbies were his work, rarely taking weekends and holidays off.  He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Tammy Adams; three children, Heather Ann Wessel of Kansas City, MO, Steven (Breeann) Adams of Holts Summit, MO and Nathaniel Adams of Boonville, MO; six siblings, Cotton (Norman) Smith of St. Louis, MO, Dawn (Jeff) Byrn of Greentop, MO, Rhonda Ostapchuk of Wirght City, MO, Tommy (Ashley) Jarrett of Columbia, MO, Bobby Adams of Enid, OK and Robby Adams of Tampa, FL.  David was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Anthony Adams.

Following David’s final wishes, there will be no public services.  A private celebration of life will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
