Isabel Terrill Obituary

Isabel (Brown) Terrill was born on April 2, 1934, in Shannondale, MO, to Raymond Brown and Mary Lisa Davis.  Isabel attended school in Dalton MO until the age of 13.  At the age of 13 Isabel moved to Glasgow, MO, and attended the Evans School for 7th and 8th Grade.  Isabel’s Mother Died at the age of 42, leaving Isabel to raise seven of her siblings.

Isabel married the love of her life, Herman Terrill, on December 15, 1957.  To this union, 10 children were born.  Five boys and Five girls.  Isabel also had the privilege of raising her twin grandkids, Nicholas and Nicole Terrill.  She also played a part in raising several other of her grandkids.  Isabel worked for National Garment Factory for over five years.  She worked for The Kellwood Company for over 15 years.  She also worked at the Bag House in Slater MO for five years.  Isabel enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and traveling.  Most of all, she enjoyed family!

Isabel was proceeded in death by her husband of 58 years Herman Terrill; daughters, Mary Terrill and Teresa Jackson; son, Anthony Terrill; grandson, Nicholas Terrill, and granddaughter, Morshauna Graves; sisters, Inia, Jenna, Marie, Louise, Gertude, and Ann; brothers, Raymond, Roger, John, and David.

Those left to cherish her memory:  sons, Phillip Brown, William (Tammy) Terrill, Alan Terrill, and Stacy (Ruthie) Terrill; daughters, Marcina Bikar, Sally Ward, and Crystal Terrill; son-in-law, Garry Jackson; sisters, Marquita Henry, Recolia Grayson, and Patricia Martin; sister-in-law, Ruby Brown; and brothers-in-law, Clearance Payne and William Terrill; special nephew, Alan Brown; bonus daughters, Karen Enyard, Delene Dodge, and Andrea Hudson; special cousin, Irene White; 20 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Terrill will be 11 AM, Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow.  Visitation will be held an hour before the service, starting at 10 AM.  Burial will follow the service at Roanoke Cemetery.
