John Gallup III 1971 - 2016 John Gallup died February 19th, 2016 at his home near Harrisburg. He was 44 years of age. John Henry Gallop III, was born June 29, 1971 to John H. and Debra G. (Clark) Gallup II. He married Betty Schwartz March 26, 1990 in Boone County, MO. John was a self-employed truck driver. He also worked on cars, especially his favorite, a 68 Dodge Charger. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, rock hunting and being around his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Betty of the home, two sons, Stephen Gallup and Jacob Gallup both of Sturgeon, his father, John Gallup II of Millersburg, his grandmother, Gladys Clark of Adrain, MO and his mother-in-law, Mattie Burkholder of Sturgeon. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell Gallup. A graveside service will be 2 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Old Union Cemetery south of Columbia with Rev. Mike Jackman officiating. Memorials are for Family's Choice in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Service, 174 Hwy 5 & 240 N., Fayette, MO 65248.
