Jonas Craig 1985 - 2016 Fayette resident, Jonas Craig died in Greenwood County, KS on April 10, 2016. He was 30 years of age. Jonas Aaron Craig was born in Columbia, MO on December 19, 1985 to Fred Craig and Kathy (Tipton) Craig. Jonas attended Fayette High School and Hickman High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in road construction and in landscaping. Jonas enjoyed outdoor activities that included hunting, fishing and trapping. He was an avid cook who enjoyed sharing newfound recipes with friends and family. He is remembered for having a kinetic but kind-hearted personality. He was quick to laugh and inspire others to laugh. He worked hard to be a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Craig of Fayette; father, Fred (Jane) Craig of Fayette; mother, Kathy Craig of Columbia; two brothers, Justin (Susan) Craig of Columbia and Josh Craig and Jessie Terrell of Fayette; grandmother, Mary Tipton of Rocheport; childhood sweetheart and soul mate, Dana Kunze of Fayette; her two children that he loved and helped raise, Morgen & Trenton Campbell; two step-sisters, Mary Blair and Stephanie Smith; step-brother, Ryan Blair; and four nephews, Tanner, Hunter, Caleb, and Christian. Funeral Services for Jonas will be 10 AM, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Linn Memorial United Methodist Church in Fayette with Rev. Harold Young officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 PM, Friday, April 15 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette. Burial will follow the funeral at Myers Chapel Cemetery in Higbee, MO.
