Jonathan “Jon Boy” Lee Lucas, 28, of Fayette, MO, passed away on March 14th, 2026 following a tragic accident.  His passing has left his family, friends, and community heartbroken as they mourn the loss of someone taken far too soon.

Born on February 13th, 1998 in Hannibal, MO, Jon was the beloved son of Robert and Sheila (Lucas) Lehenbauer, and the cherished brother of Shawn Lehenbauer.  He was known for his sense of humor, his hard-working abilities, and the love he had for the people close to him.  Jon enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, road tripping, dirt track races, car shows and most of all, spending time with family and friends.  Jon had a way of making people light up when he walked into a room.  He brought energy to everyone around him and was often the life of the group.  Above all else, Jon loved his family deeply and treasured the time spent with them.  The memories he created with those who loved him will be forever carried in their hearts.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Sheila Lehenbauer of Fayette, MO; his brother, Shawn (Addison) Lehenbauer of Fayette, MO; his maternal grandfather, Ronnie Lucas of Palmyra, MO; paternal grandmother, Judy Lehenbauer of Frankford, MO; uncles and aunts, Benny Lehenbauer of Fayette, MO, Michael (Shellie) Lehenbauer of Frankford, MO, Patty (Bobby) West of Palmyra, MO, Debbie (Richard) Christan of Philadelphia, MO, Bub (Mandy) Lucas of Palmyra, MO,  and Sherri Rhoades of Quincy, Il; and many cousins, and friends.  Jon was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Vicky Lucas and paternal grandfather, Benny Lehenbauer, Sr.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette, MO.  A funeral officiated by Bro. James Briggs will follow at 2 PM.  Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate his life.  Burial will follow services at Log Chapel Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Log Chapel Cemetery.

Though his time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, and memories he gave will never be forgotten.
