Kathy Yardley

Kathryn ‘Kathy’ June Yardley, 63, of O’Fallon, MO passed away on May 10, 2023 with her son at her side after losing her battle to lung cancer.

Kathy was born on October 20, 1959 in Kansas City, MO to Arthur Earl Yardley and Leota C. ‘Kay’ (Chowning) Yardley.  She graduated high school in 1977 from Glasgow High School in Glasgow, MO.  In 2018, Kathy received her Master’s degree in Studies of Human Behavior from Capella University.  She always enjoyed crafting, her dog Winston, sending hand-written cards, and being an active member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO.

She is survived by her son, Brian Yardley of Lenexa, KS.  In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her siblings, Artis (Yardley) Schieszer and Lonnie Yardley.

Family and friends are encouraged to share remembrances at the gathering which will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow.  Memorial service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Keith McCallister officiating.  Inurnment will be held in Washington Cemetery.
