Lois Kioh 1924 - 2016 Former Howard County resident, Lois Kioh passed away at her daughter's home in Huntsville, MO October 11, 2016. She was 91 years of age. Lois Nell Kioh was born October 30, 1924 in Howard County near Harrisburg. She was a graduate of Fayette High School. She married Ray Franklin Kioh February 19, 1944 and he preceded her in death December 27, 1983. Lois was a homemaker raising five children. She enjoyed baking pies for her family, playing cards and working crossword puzzles. She is survived by three daughters, Tonja (Robert) Burlage of Huntsville, MO, Nita (Ed) Meyer of Callao, MO and Rayma (David) Pennington of Armstrong, MO, two sons, Ronald (Patty) Kioh of Independence and Randy (Brenda) Kioh of Auxvasse, MO, ten grandchildren, Darren Crews, Tad and Jeff Kioh, Eric, Jason and Cori Kioh, Ashley Wright, Wayne and Chad Pennington and Dena Kioh along with numerous great grandchildren. There will be a memorial service honoring Lois's life 2 pm, Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Harold Young officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will follow the service at the Fayette City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Fayette City Cemetery or Parkinson's Research in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Service.
