Marion Nagel 1927 - 2016 Marion Nagel passed away at Golden Living Center in Glasgow August 25, 2016 where she had been a resident since 2008. She was 89 years of age. Marion Estelle Faust (nee' Nagel) was born in Highland, IL on August 19, 1927 to Lawrence Marcus Nagel and Edna Koch. She lived in Highland, IL until she married George James Faust on June 26, 1953. They soon moved to northern Missouri where she became the mother of seven children: Bill, Rita, Mary, Ronald, Ken, Gary and Tim. She has seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one grandchild. Marion enjoyed arts and crafts, making and wearing jewelry and playing bingo. She was a proud mother who always loved talking about her family and socializing with other residents. Marion attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Glasgow. A memorial service for Mrs. Nagel will be 11AM, Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Harold Young officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Fayette next to her husband. Memorials are suggested to St. Mary's Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
