Glasgow resident, Martha Keller, passed away peacefully February 12, 2025 at Glasgow Gardens.  She was 97 years of age.

Martha Louise Keller was born on March 13, 1927 in Vandalia, MO, a daughter to the late George Henry and Verna Anna (Vollmer) Conger.  Martha graduated from Glasgow High School with the class of 1945.  On April 17, 1949 she married William Keller at the Glasgow United Methodist Church.  The couple enjoyed over 52 years of marriage.  William preceded Martha in death on January 10, 2002.  Martha held several jobs throughout her career working at the Tip Top Café, the shirt factory in Slater and Kellwood textile manufacturing.  She primarily worked as a caregiver, providing great care to the elderly and those in need.  Martha was a devout and longtime member of Glasgow United Methodist Church.  Her final wishes were to gift her body for scientific research, so her body was donated to the University of Missouri School of Medicine.

Survivors include two children, Roberta Keller and Randy Keller, both of Glasgow, MO; granddaughter, Mildred (Charles) Buhlig; sister, Ruth Pauley of Rincon, GA; one brother, George Conger of Concordia, MO; and five great-grandchildren, Landon, Damien, Ava, Jaxson and Riley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Ricky Keller, and two brothers, Charles and Stanley Conger.

A memorial service celebrating Martha’s life will be 11 AM, Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Glasgow United Methodist Church, with Rev. Karen Alden officiating.  Visitation will be an hour before the service at the church starting at 10 AM.  Inurnment will be held privately at a later date at Gilliam Cemetery.
