Mary Perry 1927 - 2017 Mary Perry was born July 22, 1927 to Mitchell and Jennie Calvert. She passed away at Courtyard Estates Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the age of 90. Mary was united in marriage to Donald Perry in 1951. She worked and retired from Quest Telephone Company. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Mary is survived by her daughter, Gloria Andrew of Mingo, Iowa; son, Arthur (Nan) Perry of Altoona, Iowa; sister, Loretta Sulltrop of Fayette, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald W. Perry; son, Ace; and her eight brothers, Harold, Joe, Floyd, Dale, Gerald, George, Herbert and Carl. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Hamilton's near Highland Memorial Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home, 174 Hwy 5 & 240 N, Fayette, Missouri. Family will greet friends one-hour prior. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Fayette, Missouri. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Dementia Society of America.
