Nancy Waldena Kaneer of Forest Green, MO went to see Jesus on April 10, 2026 while surrounded by loved ones. She was born August 28, 1949 in Columbia to Leonard and Bessie (Hyde) Sexton. Nancy was a member of the Harrisburg High School class of 1969. On January 1, 1977 Nancy married the love of her life, Roger Kaneer. They enjoyed 46 years together before Roger preceded her in death.

Nancy started working at Mugs Up when she was 16, where she developed a life long love of the Zip Burger. Nancy found a career at Semco, Mfg. where she retired as a Senior Sales Rep after 43 years. During this time, she developed deep friendships that lasted her whole life. Nancy’s passions included her church, her family, and creating a more beautiful world through her gardening and her quilting.

Nancy is lovingly remembered by her children Fadre & Bryan Maun, Columbia, MO, Cynthia Miller, Holden, MO, Tammy & Rick Stanford, St. Augustine, FL, Brian & Mary Kaneer, Glasgow, MO; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Kaneer, and her sister, Brenda Robertson.

A memorial service honoring the life of Nancy Kaneer will be held 11 AM, Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Higbee Baptist Church in Higbee, MO.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Higbee Baptist Church, PO Box 16, Higbee, MO 65257.
