Patricia Crowley Obituary
Glasgow resident, Patricia Crowley, 86, passed away June 2, 2026 at Glasgow Gardens.
Patricia Ann Crowley, affectionately known to family and friends as “Pat,” was born May 2, 1940 in Aholt, Chariton Co., MO. She was one of five daughters born to the late Edmund and Anna (Roling) Suttner. She attended school in Salisbury and graduated from St. Joseph High School with the class of 1958. On October 13, 1960, Pat married the love of her life, Richard Crowley, at St. Mary Church in Glasgow. This past October, the couple celebrated 65 years of marriage. Pat held several jobs throughout her career including working in Chicago and for Hallmark in Kansas City. She worked as a cook for both St. Mary School and Glasgow Public Schools for many years. Furthermore, Pat helped maintain the homestead and worked diligently on the family farm. Pat was most proud of her family and loved them dearly. Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she truly adored time spent with them. Pat was a former member of the Town and Country Club and was a devout and active member of St. Mary Parish, serving on several boards in various capacities. She enjoyed baking, gardening, sewing, some quilting, square-dancing, neighborhood card parties and praying--known to her loved ones as their "prayer warrior."
Survivors include her husband, Richard Crowley, of Glasgow, MO; five children, Michael (Cindy) Crowley, Anthony Crowley, both of Glasgow, MO, Deanna (Mark) Summers of O’Fallon, MO, Suzanne (Randy) Freese of Kansas City, MO and Erin (Brett) Witte of Glasgow, MO; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marilyn Hall of Magnolia, TX. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Grayson William Crowley, sisters, Mildred Meyer and Elizabeth Holland, and infant sister, Helen Suttner.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Friday, June 5, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Glasgow, with Fr. Joshua Duncan officiating. Visitation is an hour before the service at the church, starting at 9:30 AM. A Rosary will be held prior to services at 9:00 AM. Interment is at Washington Cemetery.
