Robert Kiker, age 78, of Fayette, MO, passed away July 14, 2025 at the Katy Manor care facility in Pilot Grove, MO.

Robert Louis Kiker was born January 7, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA.  He was a son to the late Orville Milton “Pete” Kiker and Electra “Lettie” (Stipa) Kiker.  Robert graduated from South Philadelphia High School and furthered his education at various institutions.  He enlisted with the U.S. Air Force and served as an aircraft mechanic in the Vietnam War.  Robert served his country honorably and valiantly, earning a Purple Heart.  On July 16, 1983, Robert married Margaret “Peggy” McFadden in Longmont, CO.  They’ve enjoyed nearly 43 years together.  Robert worked for the University of Missouri Power Plant facility as a mechanic/technician for 20 years.  In his spare time, Robert loved taking rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  He was also an avid coin enthusiast and collector.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy, of the home; two grandsons, Daryl Smith and Zach Hoff, both of Indianapolis, IN; and two sisters, Catherine McKillop and Joann (Rick) Murro, both of Sewell, NJ.  In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two children, Bobby Kiker and Andrea Kiker.
