Glasgow resident, Vida DeWolfe, age 51, passed away August 16, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Vida-Jane Noelle DeWolfe was born Christmas Day, December 25, 1973, in Fayette, MO.  She was a daughter to Roy Lee Bennett and Victoria Lynn (Buford) Saulter.  Vida graduated from Salisbury High School with the class of 1993.  Shortly after graduating, Vida began her working career with Parker Hannifan Corp. in Slater, MO.  She worked at Parker Hannifin for 33 years, and was Lead Supervisor when her health rendered her unable to continue working.   

Vida will be remembered for her loving nature and having a heart of gold.  Her passion poured into her family and friends.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, oftentimes taking weekend trips and vacations.  She loved capturing these moments by taking as many pictures as she possibly could.  Vida’s favorite place to vacation was the beach.  She loved the ocean and cherished the time away with her family.  Vida will also be remembered by her infectious smile, and we can all hear her say, “I’ll meet you at the beach!”

Survivors include her significant other and fiancé of 21 years, Kirby Norris; mother, Vicky (Gerald) Saulter; father, Roy Lee (Rhonda) Bennett; six children, Jeff (Brandy) Norris, Ashley (David) Gosney, Jayce (Victoria Kinsey) Norris, Christian (Kelsey Hammons) DeWolfe, Shalynn Norris and Wesley Norris; one bonus daughter, Erica DeWolfe; 11 grandchildren, four bonus grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Geraldine Norris.  She was preceded in death by four siblings, Gerald Saulter, Jr., Charity Saulter, Martha Saulter and Brandin Bennett, and father-in-law, Don Norris.

The family of Vida DeWolfe will host a celebration of life gathering from 1-3 PM, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Glasgow, MO.
