Will Beaman, age 19, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2023, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, following a two-year battle with cancer.
James William Beaman was born June 10, 2003 in Columbia, MO. He was the second child born to James Mitchell “Mitch” and Darlene (McClammer) Beaman. Will proudly, and honorably, graduated from Fayette High School with the class of 2022. He cherished his time at Fayette High School. He enjoyed being a part of the trap shooting team, active in FFA and playing football. He loved spending time outdoors when he could, hunting and fishing. Will was resilient, he was strong, and he was a fighter. After being diagnosed with leukemia, Will found immense comfort and support from Fayette, Howard County and the surrounding communities. Fellow students, staff, parents and community helped formulate and create an atmosphere of positivity to help Will on his battle with cancer. The Beaman family is forever grateful for the overwhelming love and support shown during this difficult time.
Will is survived by his parents, Mitch (Darlene) Beaman of Fayette, MO, and his sister, Clara Beaman and her significant other, Zayne Thomas, both of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Will was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John F. and Lillian M. Beaman, and his maternal grandparents, Joe and Dorothy McClammer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fayette High School Gymnasium on Saturday, February 18, 2023, where the family will receive friends from 9 AM – 12 PM.
